Political power has been Decentralised and Devolved
Government use to be only ruled from London - centralised
But people in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland didnt think it was fair because they werent fairly represented
A referendum was held to see who wanted more political control
Scotland and Wales voted for seperate assemblies so some powers were devolved (handed over) from London
The Northern Irish assembly was suspended due to political disagreements but the main parties continued power-sharing
