These things are all in the soloar system

• The solar system has a star (the sun) in the middle
• There are eight planets (including the Earth) orbiting the sun in almost circular paths
• There are also moons that orbit planets
• Smaller objects like dwarf planets, comets and asteroids also orbit the sun

Stars and planets are very different from each other

• Stars are hugs, very hot and very far away
• Stars also give out lots of light
• Planets are much smaller than stars and only reflect light
