it is available  24 hours a day, customers can access their cash whent eh bank is closed

shops can check that they have the money for the purchase

PIN numbers means that money is secure

economic issues:

other countries use ICT, if not then our goods would become very uncompetative

some things would be impossible such as air traffic control, credit cards and space travel

environmental issues:

electronic offices lead to  the elimination of paper and therefore less trees are killed

working at home can reduce car fumes

employment issues:

many job losses as computers take the new roles

many of the jobs that computers replace…
