1) Presentation

The candidate is called forward to be presented to the Bishop

The Bishop questions the candidates about his responsibilities including obedience to the Bishop and celebrating the sacraments. The candidate promises to fulfil them

The candidate lies on the floor in prostration

4) Consecration

The priest is ordained by the Bishop, by laying on of hands and by prayer
