The Night of Power - The most important event in Muhammads lifetime was when he recieved Allahs words for the first time.

Muhammad would spend time praying and meditating in a cave. He was meditating one day, like normal on Mount Hira. While he was there and unexpected, The Angel Jibril commanded Muhammad to recite the words he could see before him. Muhammad had never been taught to read but found he could recite the words. These became the first five verses of Surah 96 in the Qur'an. The words remained engraved in his heart.

Why is the revelation of the Qur'an to Muhammad so important to Muslims?
