The learning approach to gambling.
Operant conditioning proposes that any behaviour that produces consequences that the individual finds rewards, then becomes alot more frequent. So, in context with gambling, the buzz from winning is rewarding and will promote them to do it over and over leading to loss of control and addiction. they may recieve, psychological, physiological, financial and social rewards all reinforcing the behaviour.
But, a limitation with this is that it cant explain all forms of gambling, whilst some forms of gambling have a short time to wait for the buzz, others take much…
