The Immune system

  • The immune system is our main defence against infection by foreign agents.
  • Key players in our immune system are the white blood cells, which are manufactured in the bones marrow and circulate in the blood stream.

The two types of white blood cell are hymphocytes and phagcytes, and these provide three different mechanisms
