Through our lives we experience faulty cognitions about ourselves , others and our worlds.

These cognitions distort a person's reality which means they make us feel worthless , 

unhealthy, unhappy about the future .

Ellis was studing irrational thinking and stated that the way we behave depends on our

thoughts .During our lives our thoughts and behaviour is mostly rational, but we also
