Discipleship - The call of the first disciples (Mark 1:14-20 2:13-17)

The call of the first disciples:

• Jesus went to Galilee and preached the good news
• Jesus saw Simon and Andrew,told them to follow him and they did
• Jesus then saw the borthers James and John, who followed him
• James and John leave their father Zebedee to follow Jesus

They answer the call and follow immediately

"At once they left their nets and followed him."

Gave up their jobs

"At once they left their nets and followed him."

Told that they would preach and fish men

"Come with me and I will teach you to catch people."

Must be willing to give up their homes and families
