Disciple = Pupil/learner/follower
Apostle = One who is sent out
Who: Jesus,Simon and Andrew (brothers and fishermen)
What: They drop their nets and follow Jesus.
Why: Because he needed some disciples
When: During the time of Jesus
Where:Happens at Lake Galilee
The story
- Simon and Andrew were fishermen - working with a simple casting net. This suggest that they were at the lower end of the peasant class.
- He called people to repent and believe the good news.
