You will need to know the general structure of the circulatory system.

  • Oxygenated blood leaves the heart via the Aorta.
  • Oxygneated blood travels through the artery to the Hepatic artery (liver). The Hepatic vein carried deoxygenated blood back to the heart.
  • Oxygenated bllod treavels to the small intestines and stomach which then is transported with other substances to the liver. The deoxygenated bllod then travels back to the heart via the hepatic vein.
