Although the Bible is the basis of Christian decision-making  most Christians believe that the Bible needs to be explained to discover what it means for life today. Many Christians believe that only the Church has the right to explain what the Bible means, and what Christians should do about moral issues.

  • They believe the Church is the Body of Christ, by this they mean that the Church is how Jesus works in the world, therefore the Church has the same authority as Christ.
