REFORM; to rehabilitate the offender so they no longer wish or need to commit the crime again in the future.

RETRIURTION; the offender suffers in proportion to the amount of harm the victim also suffered. 

COMPENSATION; to compensate the victims for the harm thatt they have suffered. 

DETERRENCE; to frighten the offender from commiting the crime again and to also make  statement to other poeple about what will happen if they commit that crime. 

these four aims of punishment are consiered by the judge…
