The treaty of Versailles

Signed on the 28th June 1919, the treaty of Versaille was a article outlining the punishment for Germany after it lost the war. Britain, France, the USA and Germany were involved in the making of the treaty though the last just as formal recognition - they had no say in deciding their fate. All nations involved wanted different things from the treaty: the French wanted vengance as they had suffered the most damage with the fighting taking place in their country, the British feared communism may arise if they were too harsh and the Americans saw Germany as a trading partner and just wanted peace (this was easy for them as they hadn't really suffered great losses in…
