Stages of Attachment

Stage 1: The asocial stage- No distinction between inanimate objects and people but prefer the latter. They will also be easier to calm if an adult familiar to them is doing it.

Stage 2: Indiscriminate Attachment- 2-7 months. They prefer humans and familiar adults, but will accept a hug from any adult and don't show any seperation or stranger anxiety.
