• The Four Noble Truths are essentially a medicinal course and remedy to life and the Eightfold Path is how the truths are applied - the truths are practical tools for realising nirvana
• The Four Noble Truths are not doctrines upon which to reflect, to deliberate over or to debate; they are a simple plan of action of things to apply to life
