The lungs

The lungs are seperated by the diaphram, they are like big sponges that are protected by the rib cage and surrounded by the pleura membranes. The air you breath in goes down the trachea and then down to branches called brochi, eahc one goes to a lung. These then split into smaller tubes called bronchioles which led to the alveoli, (where gas exchange happens).
