Successes
.Vilna- Vilna was given to Poland in 1919 but Russia gave Lithuania the city in 1920. Poland appealed to the league and attacked Vilna. The league was unable to enforce a settlement so the Conference of Ambassadors awarded Vilna to poland with no conflict.
.The Aaland Islands- The Swedish population of these Finnish Island sdeclared their loyalty to Sweden in 1917. Finland sent troops to regain them and the dispute was referred to the League. The league set up a commission of enquiry which agreed that the…
