warm water vapour is carried upwards.

it cools and consenses to form clouds

water falls from clouds as precipitation onto land.

it drains into the sea and the whole process starts again

recycling of elements:

living things are made from materials taken from their surroundings

plants turn gases like carbon dioxide into complex compounds like carbohydrates.
