The Cuban Revolution

In 1888 Americaa helped the Cubans gain independence from Spain. America became heavily involved in Cuba's affairs, they built a naval base at Guantanamo Bay and invested a lot in Cuban industry. In 1934 the USA helped military officer Fulgerico Batista establish himself into power in Cuba.
