Method 1: making a soluable salt. metals

//metal + acid > salt + hydrogen//   

(note: sme metals are too reactive e.g potassium, Sodium, Lithium and some are not reactive enough e.g Gold, silver.)

For example: Magnesium + hydrochloric acid > magnesium chloride + hydrogen.

Method:

1. add acide to test tube add metal to acid.

satrted: bulbbles with produce   finished: bubbles will stop being produce.
