Tectonic are a Type of Natuaral Hazard

1) A natural hazard is a naturally occuring event that has potential to affect peoples lives or property, e.g. earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or tsunamis.

2) When natural hazards do affect peoples lives or property they're called natural disasters.

3) Earthquakes and volcanoes are tectonic hazards- they're caused by the movement of tectonic plates.
