Tannenbaum & Schmidt Continuum

This theory suggests that there are a broad number of appraoches to management, for example theory x and y suggests that there are only 2 ways of managing but this offers a better selection for managers. There are seven levels to the continuum. They are

• 1 - Tell

The manager makes and announces the decisions, all power in the process belongs to them. It is much like the theory X style management.
