• Prisoners still not allowed to vote in the UK 
• However 1928 representation of the people act means everyone else is 
• 16 year olds still not allowed to vote in the UK
• However is probably going to happen, Scottish referendum in 2014 meant 16 year olds could vote 
• Is unclear once we leave the EU about foreign nationals being able to vote/ citizenship
• However this is only minor, after representation of the people act 1969 everyone can vote in the UK
• Voting is on the decline so suffrage is suffering, only 51% turnout for the 2001 election
