Reproductive system structures and functions:

Fallopian tubes: Go from the uterus to the ovaries and during ovulation, an ovary releases an egg into fallopian tube next to it.

Ovary: makes eggs and hormones like progesterone and oestrogen. Hormones help girls to develop and make it possible to have a child.

Cervix: Lower part of the uterus that opens into vagina. Cervix expands about 4 inches so baby can travel from uterus to vagina.
