Different personalities can affect stress levels
- Type A - competitive and ambitous
- Type B - relaxed and easy going
- Type X - balance of the two
Friedman and Rosenman - Type A personality and illness
Method: 3000 39-59 year old American males were assessed to class their personality characteristics using interviews and observations. At the beginning, none had CHD.
