Strengths and Weaknesses of Loftus and Pickrell.

In this study, Loftus and Pickrell used Quantitative data as their form of data collection. This data type is colleted in numerical and statistical form which allows a more objective form of statistcal analysis. Data such as word length of recollections, clarity and confidence ratings allowed the researchers to make scientific comparisons between the word length of recollection in the false story to the word length of the  true story in the booklet. Qualitative data allows researchers to have a better understanding by comparison of statistical means.

Another strength of the study is that it had high validity.
