Still I Rise - Maya Angelou

Context:

Maya Angelou lived in America and was born in 1928. She was a civil rights activist who felt enormously strongly about racial equality within American society. She suffered a traumatic childhood where she was sexually abused and ***** by her mother's boyfriend. She became mute for 5 years where she developed her love for literature.
