Embryonic stem cells can differentiate into any type of cell. Adults have stem cells too, bone marrow, but is it already specialised and can't turn into any type of cell. They can only turn into things such as blood cells. 

Stem cells from bone marrow can be used to treat certain diseases, but is restricted. From a healthy person, stem cells (bone marrow) can replace faulty blood cells in patients. 

Embryonic stem cells can too replace cells in sick people. Can produce insulin-producing cells to help treat people with diabetes and nerve cells for spinal cord…
