Whiteley v Chappell 1868

Defendant was charged with impersonating 'any person entitled to vote'. Defendant pretended to be a person who was on the voters list but had passed away. Defendant won.

Cutter v Eagle Star Insurance 1998

Roach Traffic Act 1998 - 'any highway or other road to which the public has access'. The company were liable to pay out for injuries in the above areas. Cutter was injured in a car in a multi-storey car park. Car park doesn't fit into above areas. Cutter lost.

London and North Eastern Railway Co. v Berriman 1946
