Aim:to teach mice to discriminate between black and white using electric shocks , and to see if shock level had an effect on learning.

Design:Independent measures design

Subjects:40 mice nearly all aged between 6-8 weeks.

Apparatus:a chamber which had;

• nesting area
• entrance chamber
• Black chamber(rigged to an electric shock)
• White chamber
