Solicitors

1) Law degree or any other degree followed by a Graduate Diploma in Law

or apply to become an ILEX fellow

2) Join the Solicitor's Regulation Authority

3) 1 year Legal Practise Course- learn the professional skills for the job

4) 2 years training contract with an authorised training authority (normally a firm of solicitors). ILEX members are exempt. During this, the Professional Skills Course must be completed.
