Model the attitude/behaviour to be learned.

Imitation
Copy the attitudes and behaviours modelled by others.
Children can learn quicker with a model.
Identification
Individual relates to the model - feels they are similar.
OR want to be associated with particular group or person.
Vicarious Reinforcement
Observing someone else being reinforced for that behaviour.
Follow up study: Bandura
Children who observed a model being rewarded for aggressive behaviour were much more likely to imitate that model. But when the model is punished they're less likely to imitate.
