• 1960s 80% voted to their social class
• Upper and middle mostly conservative, lower usually labour
• in 2017 59% of lower class voted labour 
• in 1964 78% of upper class voted conservative 
• However in 2017 upper class has declined to 43% 
• Lower class used to be 64% in 1964
• Younger tend to vote labour, 67% of 18-24 in 2017 
• Older tend to vote conservative, 65+ 59% tory 
• Ethnic minorities tend to vote more labour, 65% in 2917 
• However support for tories is growing among BME. 7% increase between 2010 and 2015
