Social action theories focus on meanings and interpretations that individuals assign to actions. These assume that individuals have free will to act and will differ in their interpretations of events. 
Micro sociology (Looking at the smallest aspects)- Bottom Up Approach - society is constructed by the acts of individuals. 

Side note - Macro is the Functionalism, Marxism andf Feminism, these all look at structure of society.
