Snaith/narrative opening - The Escape

The other prisoners are planning an escape. Tomorrow. While most of the guards are sleeping. They need someone small, to steal the key off of the night guard while everyone else makes a distraction. I've volunteered for it, like an idiot. Everyone still seems surprised and, honestly, so am I. Ever since I got here, I've kept mostly to myself. People assumed I'd be too small and weak to help out and I didn't bother challenging them, but I want out of here as much as everyone else.
