Aerobic respiration

energy is produced by aerobic respiration.Blood transports oxygen and food in the form of glucose,to the bodys cells.Mitochondria in the cells cause glucose and oxygen to react,and energy is released.The energy can then be used for movement.

Glucose,oxygen and carbon dioxide move between the capillaries and the respiring cells by diffusion (down to up)

Aerobic respiration is a very efficent method of producing energy.

Glucose + Oxygen --> Carbon Dioxide + Water + Energy
