Diffusion 1:

  • Diffusion is the spreading of particles of a gas, or a substance dissolved in  a solution, from a region where the particles are at a higher concentration to where they are at a lower concentration.

 

  • Water and sugar molecules in the solution move around in all directions. the sugar concentration is higher at the bottom of the beaker than at the top.
