We need to use less energy

• As the population grows, more and more energy is needed for fuel and power
• We use fossil fuels for most of our energy which are bad for the environment and will eventually run out
• It will help if we reduce the amount of energy we use every day

• Stop heat escaping - the less energy you waste, the less you need to use in the first place
• Things like cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, double glazing, draught-proofing, thick curtains and hot water tank jackets all stop heat escaping
