Mass:

• In conditions 1 and 2 they were shown two identical cylinderical shapes of playdoh.
• The transfomation was to squash and roll one of these clinders into a sausage shape.
• After the children were asked to compare both shapes
• In the third condition, the children had to compare with no transformation or showing at the beginning of the same shapes.
