Target Population is all of the participants in an entire group of people who you are interesting in investigating on.

Volunteer Sampling is when participants come forward and have an interest in taking part in your investigation. Strength : It's less time consuming because the participants come forward. Weakness: Increases researcher bias as they're only advertising for a certain type of participant and it decreases studies' validity of data as you won't get a representative sample so can't generalise to the whole population.
