Evaluation questions!
The Church doesn’t need a pope. Do you agree or disagree?
I disagree this is because the Pope has authority due to where Jesus said to Peter “you are peter and on this rock i shall build my Church, i will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven” and so he has authority from God to teacher us faith and our morals and to help up to develop our relationship with God. Another reason why i disagree is because according to the first Vatican council in 1870 the pope when speaking on matters of faith and morals in infallible and so this indicates that the Pope does not make errors and this is also supported as jesus promised that the holy spirit would guide the church away from error and so we need a Pope because he is seen as infallible to proclaim Gods word. Also the pope has been given the titles the vicar of Christ and so this proves that he works in place of jesus and also the servant of the servants of god and so the pope is need in the church is order to fulfil this title
The bible is not important. Do you agree or disagree?
i disagree and this is because the bible is the word of god and through the bible god reveals is presence and also reveals his word and the writers of the bible have been guided by god and the holy spirit in order to proclaim the truth and so the bible is important because it proclaims the truth about God. Another reason why i disagree is because the bible is a source of authority and people turn to the bible in order to help them with their conscience and so that is why i feel that the bible is important.
Evil is created by humans there is no such thing as the devil do you agree or disagree?
I agree this is because God gave us free will and therefore some people abuse this freedom which consequently results in moral evil to take place. Also we are created in the image and likeness of God and therefore have the ability to know the difference between right and wrong and therefore it is up to us to created evil as jesus taught that evil comes from a person’s heart, not the devil.
Christians have far more in common what they believe in than what divides them; do you agree or disagree?
i agree because all Christians believe that their is a God and mostly all Christians are aware of this as well as going to Church as a form of worship as this joins us together as a community. I also agree because there are more things which makes Christians more alike than not alike and even if there are a lot of things that divides…
