Roles of Women Before:

-          Domestic roles.

-          Looked after children.

Roles of Women During:

-          Did the jobs that the men previously did. 

-          Worked in factories, on fields etc.

-          Women produced the explosives.

-          Newspaper couldn’t report on anything that might reduce moral.

Lloyd George brought women into the workplace.

Women were helpless to interject when their husbands/sons were told to join the war…
