Retinopathy of Prematurity

Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) is where there is abnormal blood vessles growth around the retina of a preterm baby's eye. 

An indepth examination is completed of the baby's eyes to diagnose ROP. The baby may have white pupils, abnormal eye movements or a squint in 1 or both eyes.
