Restorative justice may be seen as an easy option and this is because restorative justice is often an alternative for offenders to be able to go through rather than having to face a prison sentence or sometimes restorative justice is a way of prisoners being able to leave their cells for a few hours as well and therefore this clearly shows that restorative is an easy option for the criminal as they do not have tp fulfil the consequences of thier actions fully by not serving a prison sentence. For example Peter Woolf first wanted to engage in restorative justice because it meant that he was able to leave his cells for an hour however when the day actually came for him to begin the restorative justice he no longer wanted to meet his victim. Once the victim had explained the effects of Woolf's illegal acts he had said that the guilt hit him 'like a truck' and therefore it can be argued that restorative justice is not an easy option for the offender as they have to face their victim and listen to how their actions effected the victim. 

Another arguement that can be used to say that restorative jsutie is not an easy option for the offender is that when the offender comes face to face with their victim they may experience absue of power for example the victim(s) may gang up on the offender especilly if the offender especially if the offender is of a young age and therefore this can cause harm to the offender and…
