Although Hitler is widely blamed for the outbreak of the war, other countries must also take responsibility.
Germany
Hitler made impossible demands on Poland and eventually invaded on 1st September 1939 after being warned not to invade. Britain and France did not appease him this time and there only option was to declare war.
No one could trust him, he had lied about his pacts and actions
He could only be stopped by force
He got too greedy (invading the whole of Czechoslavakia and Poland) and brought war upon everyone by wanting to make Germany a more powerful nation.
Hitler was aggressive. He went on until there was a war to stop him.
His invasions on Czechoslovakia and Poland were beyond correcting the mistakes of the Treaty of Versailles.

The USSR being communist and leaving the league in 1934 meant they were seen as a threat from Western…
