Oxidative Phosphorylation produces a lot of ATP 

  • The process where energy from electrons from reduced conenzymes (NAD FAD) is used to make ATP
  • It has two stages - the electron transport chain and chemiosmosis

Protons are pumped across the Inner Mitochondrail Membrane 

  • Hydrogen atoms are released from reduced NAD and reduced FAD as theyre oxidised into NAD and FAD.
