Field Experiements

    • Takes place in a natural environment of the participant so behaviour is likely to be natural
    • Variables are controlled as much as they can be
    • Can drawn cause and effect conclusions


    • They can be repeated because as many as possible variables are controlled to make the procedure the same for every participant, promoting reliability
    • It is high in ecological validity as it is in the participant's natural setting
