Investigating the effect of different antibiotics on bacterial growth

Method 

1. Sterilse petri dish and inoculating loop to kill any unwanted microorganisms

2. Inoculate a petri dish with a culture of bacteria 

3. Soak small discs of filter paper in different antibiotics

4. Using forceps, place the antibiotic discs onto the surface of the agar

5. Seal the petri dish 

6. Store the petri dish upside down to prevent condensation contaminating the agar surface
