Univocal – Words have the same meaning when applied to different objects or things. Eg) yellow

Equivocal – The use of the same word to mean completely different things when applied to different objects. Eg) Gay

Cognitive – Expresses facts and knowledge.

Non-Cognitive – Expresses things we could never know.

Verification – Refers to the concept of demonstrating the truth of falsity of a statement
